Politics[edit]

This page contains a lot of one-sided history of politics, when it is ostensibly about a place. This should be edited. There is copious text describing politics relating to this field elsewhere in the proper place on Wikipedia. Foe example, the use of "British Army" is a political statement - the Army was the Army, it doesn't need to be referred to as British on every occasion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.32.29.1 (talk) 13:22, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

When the British Army is being referred to, that's what it needs to be called. The IRA calls itself an "army" and other factions also referred to themselves using other military-style terms, so there needs to be clarity about what organisation is being discussed. This place had, and still has, an important role in the political history of Northern Ireland, so the political element does need to be outlined. 86.56.89.46 (talk) 14:48, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stronghold[edit]

The text "The area is mistakenly believed to be a stronghold for Dissident Republican activity; however, this is not the case as there is no support for a return to violence among the majority of residents in the estate." appears to be a non sequitur.
