Confusion[edit]

Usually "Queen Emma Lily" is used to refer to C. x augustum (probably a HYBRID of C. asiaticum and C. zeylanicum (https://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/pbswiki/index.php/CrinumHybridsStriped) and has white and purple flowers and is very scented. "Spider Lily" is usually C. asiaticum. The whole subject is confusing and the current article doesn't help and might be misleading or incorrect.Paulhummerman (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am glad I could find "Queen Emma Lily" here, but the redirect to this article doesn't seem to make much sense if it's supposed to be synonymous with Crinum asiaticum and we have an article on that. Why not redirect there? --87.150.13.29 (talk) 08:08, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it's supposed to be a cultivar of Crinum augustum, at least according to this source. But this is a synonym of Crinum × amabile according to Plants of the World Online.
