Talk:Critical illness insurance

If some one knowledgeable is updating the page is would be nice for it to include some mention of risk assessment. Most of the information available is based on insurance marketing literature with anecdotal stats that may mean nothing or may mean a great deal.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.176.92.99 (talk) 16:04, 3 January 2007

I simply removed that language. Definitely from marketing literature. Petervcook (talk) 01:45, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit] External Links

I've removed a bunch of links from the external links section as they were all (apart for the ABI one) links to sites that either provide critical illness insurance or are middle-men style quote sites that provide quotes from multiple providers. (There was also some sabotage of competitor's links.) This article desperately needs expansion and filling out by people knowledgeable in the field; e.g. financial advisers, underwriters, risk assessors, and actuaries. Not more links to different insurance companies. I don't think there is a problem linking to these types of sites if they fit the WP:EL criteria, and they add something to the article that cannot be written into it with references. --Phydaux 21:08, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

hi - just popped in a short paragraph re risk assessement - you could write a book on it but i reckon a short summary more useful. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolfandcub (talkcontribs) 15:52, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
