[edit] Lack of Large Bodies of Water?

Balaton, Danube, Tisza and Dráva, that's not what I would call a lack of large bodies of water, especially considering the rather small size of the country. Dontaskme 00:07, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

This waters are not too large if we see the European average, and there are no seas, big lakes (lake Balaton is not too big if we see round Europe), big rivers (except Danube) and oceans. Gubbubu 07:32, 17 September 2005 (UTC)

Balaton is the second biggest lake in Europe, or not? So I think the conclusion is far away from reality.. Aetil

Only Russia has bigger lake in Europe. --Celebration1981 (talk) 08:45, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed deletation

This article should be completely rewritten and eventually merged with the general Hungary article. The general article has a much better written culture section. This article ends up with mentioning an "internet phenomena" - Speak the Rapper.

--PeterKristo 10:13, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

I understand that there is a set of articles "culture of ...". Of course Hungary should also have this. But this article should be completely rewritten. I have changed the proposed deletation to a proposal for rewriting. --PeterKristo 10:24, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
No offence meant, but I think this article is extremely poor for the reasonably important topic it's supposed to cover. It has a barely readable and off-point introduction, fails to capture the multicultural face of the nation's culture, has a poor structure and misses quite a few important points (like the cultural aspects of education and science). I hope some expert Wikipedian can drop by to make it better, it's way too big a task for me. 81.182.13.220 (talk) 21:12, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Culture of Hungary is not equal with Hungarian Culture

therefore we must open a new article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.44.7.84 (talk) 16:46, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
