Please change "He is vegan and straight edge.[10]" to "Lepore used to be straight edge, but stopped adhering to that lifestyle (or "broke edge") in recent years." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samxsawyer (talkcontribs)

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:33, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

- Under Section “Criminal charge” within the infobox biography card, it is stated that: "Rape charge dropped to a felony assault dropped to misdemeanor assault"

- Comments: It does not make sense for this section to be included as not only is it false and misleading, but it is also out of place. Curtis Lepore was never convicted of Rape, nor a felony assault. He was convicted of an assault misdemeanor.

I have cited two examples of other well known and convicted celebrities that do not have their legal issues within this section but still explains it in the appropriate section within the article.

The “Criminal charge” section of Curtis Lepore’s infobox biography card should be removed. --AdamLawrence212 (talk) 23:08, 8 December 2019 (UTC) AdamLawrence212 (talk) 23:08, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done, thank you for spotting this. This was indeed a violation of our biographies of living persons guidelines. – Thjarkur (talk) 23:18, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- Original Content:

In October 2013, Lepore was alleged to have raped his then-girlfriend, Jessi "Smiles" Vazquez.[12] The incident occurred when Vazquez was in Los Angeles recovering from a concussion. Vazquez stated that Lepore came over to help while she was recovering, and once asleep, Lepore raped her.[12][13] Charges were filed in January 2014; Lepore, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was released on $100,000 bail.[14][15] In February 2014, Lepore took a plea deal in the case; the rape charges were dropped and he pleaded guilty to felony assault.[13][16] In February 2015, Lepore's felony assault charges were reduced to a misdemeanor.[17]

Reason for Change Request:

- The incident took place in August 2013 not October 2013 - It was never confirmed that Vazquez suffered a concussion. - This is misleading, Vazquez was not just "In Los Angeles" but staying with Curtis Lepore and Other Friends. - “Vazquez stated that Lepore came over to help while she was recovering, and once asleep, Lepore raped her.” This entire statement is false & misleading. Vazquez was at Curtis Lepore’s house by choice a fact that has been cited in many online publications. [1]

- New Changed Content Requested:

In Late August 2013, Lepore was accused of rape by his then-girlfriend, Jessi "Smiles" Vazquez.[12] The incident occurred when Vazquez was in Los Angeles & staying with Curtis Lepore. Vazquez spent a couple of days staying with other friends and after an incident where she allegedly suffered a minor injury while filming a Vine. Vazquez requested Lepore come and pick her up, which he did. The two went back to Lepore’s place of residence where the incident was alleged to of taken place.

Charges were filed in September 2013, and Lepore was arrested the same month. Lepore plead not guilty and was released on $100,000 bail. In February 2013 Lepore accepted a plea deal in the case; the rape charges were dropped, and he pleaded guilty to felony assault.[13][16]. Post his guilty plea Lepore commented “I didn’t want to take the plea. Absolutely not,” he said. “But I don’t have to go to jail, and I can move on with my life.” [2]

In February 2015 after Lepore completed 24 hours of community service and 1 year of weekly therapy, his Felony Assault was reduced to a Misdemeanor. --AdamLawrence212 (talk) 23:58, 8 December 2019 (UTC) AdamLawrence212 (talk) 23:58, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Content Removal / Change Request:

- Original Content: Until a controversy In 2013, Lepore was part of one of the first online celebrity couples with his relationship to video blogger Jessi Vazquez.[1] They were supposedly introduced by Jessica's manager and engaged in a handful of public stunts and appearances as part of their relationship, including a public meeting in Washington Square Park which featured a live band and a special hashtag to commemorate the event.[1] At the time, Lepore had over 1 million Vine followers.[1] As of February 2014, Lepore has 7.5 million followers on Vine.[9]

Reason for Removal / Change: - "Until a controversy In 2013," This part of the sentence is irrelevant when discussing his role as "one of the first online celebrity couples".
