Wrong Instrument Information, Unsourced[edit]

This article says, "The bass line is performed on a Yamaha DX7 synthesizer, with the drums being provided by a Roland S-50 keyboard, both instruments extensively used in 1980s pop music."

This is stupid and ridiculous, the Roland S-50 wasn't used extensively in 1980s pop music, wasn't used on Danger Zone, and didn't exist when this song was recorded or even a year after it was recorded. This song was on an album released May 13, 1986, and was in a movie trailer made 1-2 months earlier. The December 1987 Keyboard Magazine has a new product review of the Roland S-50 and that would have had to have been written in September 1987, and also has a 3-page advertisement from Roland for the S-50. Aside from completely keyboard synth/sampler based artists like Art of Noise, Depeche Mode, or Pet Shop Boys, I'll bet there wasn't a single top 20 song in 1986 that had all the drums coming from ANY keyboard sampler. People just didn't do things that way in 1985 and 1986.

This song, like almost every other top hit song from 1986, uses the LinnDrum for the drums. You can hear it in the snappy kick drum and the stick-y hi-hat sound. There's no way to source this Linn information (no way to source common sense or reality for Wiki standards), but I am deleting this Roland sampler garbage.66.245.201.46 (talk) 10:57, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:DangerZoneKennyLoggins.jpg[edit]

Image:DangerZoneKennyLoggins.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. I have edited the references because this song has been butchered too many times.
