Conservation[edit]

Though the article presently states that the Environment Agency is the Conservation Authority, I'd expect NRW to be the Conservation Authority for the Welsh half of the estuary. Plus, thought there might be a mention as one of those UK rivers which can boast a tidal bore- see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-wales-60264801 for example. cheers Geopersona (talk) 08:20, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. All regulatory activities, including acting as the Navigation authority now rest with NRW. I also agree about the bore, although there are other rivers with bores including, bizarrely, the River Arth (speaking as someone who has been caught out by it and got wetter than intended!)  Velella  Velella Talk   11:55, 5 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
