Proliferation of critic awards[edit]

There has been a general proliferation of critic awards during the last few years. The established awards such as National Board of Review of Motion Pictures are obviously notable. It is not clear whether any of the new critic awards should be considered notable. Rather than a piece-meal approach to deciding each of the notability of the newer awards, I believe it would be better to determine the criteria for award notability. This discussion may be more appropriate at WikiProject_Films. --Dan Dassow (talk) 22:31, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
