The Observation Cars[edit]

Railway Magazine November 1958 p. 801 said they seated 24 (not 27), described the train as the 'North Wales Land Cruise' train (http://www.nwrail.org.uk/nw1006c.htm says it had several names) and said 'The Land Cruise Lounge' replaced 'Pullman Observation Car' on the outside of the coach.
