Question: This article does not mention some acronyms I think are related, but I don't know for sure. 1. Does DTTB (Digital Terrestrial TV Broadcast) is a title for DMB-T/H given to it after it was selected as a netional standard by NSC (NAtional Standartization Committee)? 2. DTMB is yet another acronym for DMB-T/H.

Can someone shase light where these acronyms came from, some history and politics behind them?

DTTB, stands for "Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting". At sometime, China had used DTTB as the name of the standard. But final name chosen as DTMB (Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcasting), in drafting stage, the name was shown as DMB-T/H (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting-Terrestrial/Handheld). -- 05:58, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
