This article does reference http://digitalhistory.unl.edu/ and shares some of the same references but does not share content. Dougseefeldt (talk) 22:01, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- It reads like a list of accomplishments by professors nobody outside the field knows. I began to wikify it and fix the citation style issues, but it still needs work. KrakatoaKatie 14:58, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Digital History is Cinderella of History as Social History and Economic History had been in 1960s. Presently it has worked on digitization of libraries and archives which is inter disciplinary activity involving Librarians, computer experts and media people. History as such is construct of historians. Hence, it should not be treated as "a list of accomplishments by professors nobody outside the field knows". It is emerging area of intellectual activity. Thanks to Krakatoa for wikifying it. However, let us keep watch that only those who happens to add to development of the topic may participate. There is a major issue which was taken by Roy in his one article that digital history paradigm may develop a history as influenced by the demands of the people and ultimately the State. For this very possibility, it has been criticized and underrated by established historians adopting presently practiced methods in craft of history. --Sumir 02:51, 23 January 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sumir Sharma (talk • contribs)
