- That was on Mozilla Firefox. On Internet Explorer, it is showing "mpos" and a copyright symbol. I can't find it anywhere in the article soure code. Is this a bug in Wikipedia? — JIP | Talk 07:39, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The article writes "a term used to describe a dominant theme in music, literature or philosophy, associated with the 19th century French composer Hector Berlioz". Where did you get this story ? I am French and I never heard this explanation. I looked at the dictionnary of the Centre Nationale de Ressources Textuelles and Lexicales which is somewhat a reference. It says [1]
- PSYCHOL. et PSYCHANAL. Idée (moins souvent, pensée) fixe.
- − Idée dominante dont le sujet ne parvient pas à se libérer. Synon. obsession. On eût dit qu'une pensée fixe l'obsédait (Maupass., Contes et nouv., t. 1, Héritage, 1884, p. 466). Cette demoiselle qui ne rêve que de têtes coupées et dont l'idée fixe est d'avoir pour amant un condamné à mort (Green, Journal, 1932, p. 88).

which means dominating idea which the subject can not get rid of... By ext. Thema, subject on which one comes back as a sort of mania. Almost nothing to do with music, literature and philosophy. [edit] Golden Sickle Appearance?
I found something rather curious. On page 28 of Asterix and the Golden Sickle, they pass a small dog in Lutetia that looks remarkably like Dogmatix. Is this a coincidence? Retcon? My imagination? Anyone?

Undefined breed. (see http://blog-en.asterix.com/index.php?2006/01/09/34-what-breed-is-dogmatix). But in the live action films, he's a West Highland White Terrier. Rwestera (talk) 23:14, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
