Nominated for deletion: Noteworthy??[edit]

He had some photos published in established magazines, but there is no mention of his importance. This means that every magazine photographer and/or every published journalist should have a wiki? Look at the "references". Look at the talk comments below and at User talk:3dimen. This looks like a paid bio for business / personal promotion.

Look at the history of page edits. The subject of this page (User: DouglasHopkins) is listed in the history and his account has been deleted. The person who wrote the article (User:3dimen) has had his/her account deleted. Sock puppet?

Untitled[edit]

Would appreciate any feedback on this page. I tried to make sure the perfume section emphasizes the history and does not seem too commercial - to me it is interesting story. Would like feedback on whether it is OK to list the products. I see products listed for other companies, so I assume it's OK. 3dimen (talk) 16:15, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article improvements[edit]

Now that this article is no longer an orphan, can anyone offer specific advice on how to make it sound less promotional? Also, how do authors typically establish notability? Suggestions welcome.3dimen (talk) 18:54, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability is established by coverage in reliable secondary sources. Basically, articles about the person. See WP:BIO for details.   Will Beback  talk  20:09, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
