Title[edit]

Shouldn't this be Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors --> AND instead of AT. [1] jacoplane 10:47, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have the press release in front of me, and yes, it should. --Codemonkey 03:19, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kenshin Dragon Quest[edit]

Is this game simply "similar" to Kenshin Dragon Quest, or is it a port? 71.203.209.0 04:27, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to everything I've read, including IGN's speculation, this will NOT be a port of Kenshin Dragon Quest. Rather, it will feature similar gameplay mechanics. --Tristam 01:02, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Role-playing game?[edit]

Based on what descriptions we have so far of the gameplay, Dragon Quest Swords doesn't sound much like an RPG to me. 71.203.209.0 00:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The problem lies with defining "RPG." Many don't consider Final Fantasy to be a true RPG, since everything (stats, storyline, character personalities, etc.) is predetermined. I think that, for now, Dragon Quest Swords roughly falls in the console role-playing game genre. We'll have to wait for more details till we revise. --Tristam 00:53, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
it's not an rpg, ign.com dosn't mark it as an rpg, i changed it to "First-person adventure" the only thing really that comes close to an rpg element is the leveling system--Sabu99 10:36, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed Date[edit]

Please do not delete the North American date that has been recently posted. It was also confirmed by Square Enix -- that they would be releasing the game on February 28, 2008. Thank you -- Zeta26 17:46, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
