When I attended Ealing College in the early '80's there was still a hole in the ceiling above the stage in the Student Union. When I asked a mate if it was from rats, he told me that that was where Pete Townshend had smashed his guitar during a performance, and that no one had the desire to fix it.

Could be apocryphal, but the story impressed me.

JOHN LENNON Are you certain Lennon went here? Can find no reference to that on the web. He attended Liverpool school of art. Then off to Hamburg with the Beatles and the rest is history. When would he have attended Ealing? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.140.192.220 (talk) 06:40, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
