Odisha Centric[edit]

The article has more coverage about Odisha in comparison with the other states of East India. This should be balanced to make the article more neutral. Amartyabag TALK2ME 08:12, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Reply: If you do the serch in this page with below key words you willget following result bengal 95 Odisha 59 Bihar 31 jharkhand 17

most of the picture are from Kolkata/bengal — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.165.63.132 (talk) 10:01, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Word counts are better. In the section Urban areas, Bengal has 158 words, Odisha 664. In cuisine, including captions, Bengal has 196 words, Odisha 371. For Dance, Bengal 22, Odisha 453. Music, Bengal 0, Odisha 529. Sports is quite different, Bengal 767 and Odisha 170. This may be something to do with sports and Kolkota. So we have 1143 for Bengal, 1734 for Odisha. Quite a different picture and a much more realistic of the actual balance in the article. Dougweller (talk) 10:26, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

What is your problem Dougweller ? why these kind of comparison ? some article have more point to write and its covered here so nothing to object it. Please try to bear the truth. Its Kaling\Utkal\Kosala’s brave ancestor who fought for their future and griped their identity in the field of Language, Art, Culture, Music, Dance, Painting, Architecture and strong brave History. So all thing are covered here. It is truth that the Odia is the only language as a Classical language and had rich history on literature. Odissi is oldest and most graceful classical dance of India. Patachitra is the classical painting from Odisha. They have their indigenous rich architecture like Konark, Lingaraj, Rajarani and many countless sculptures shredded over the ancient Kalinga, Utkala and Kosala region of India. Odissi Music is claimed Classical music amont 3 classical music in India. And its preserved and got the such great recognition only for their brave ancestor. So don’t be upset with some subject have some glory and brave past which made the present to say many thing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.165.63.132 (talk) 11:57, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Images[edit]

See MOS:Images - more work is needed, but images should not overwhelm the article. I don't think galleries are appropriate in an overview article such as this one. Eg if there is a food article, a gallery would be appropriate, but not here. Dougweller (talk) 10:38, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
