Neutrality[edit]

I nominated this to be checked for neutrality since it seems to have only reports which favor mitigation rather than adaptation. If someone familar with this literature could look over it and determine what best to include, that would probably be ideal. If these three reports are the only notable reports, then the article should probably be reworded to accommodate that. --TeaDrinker (talk) 16:19, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge into Economics of global warming?[edit]

Noit sure why this article is here, I don't think it'll grow beyond the bounds of being just a subsection of Economics of global warming. Dmcq (talk) 12:18, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe there is a notable separate subject of economic opinion on climate change. Thetitle implies it is on the same subject as Climate change consensus but from the point of view of economists. However in fact the article is written as a duplicate of one section of Economics of global warming, in particular its section Economics of global warming#Mitigation and adaptation. Any extra useful stuff if any in this article should be moved over and this article deleted. Dmcq (talk) 02:48, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A trend is developing[edit]

Interesting. I can see the utility of a (well written) Public Opinion on Climate Change, but I see no rationale for this as it's already covered in Economics of Global Warming.

I would theorize that this is part of a trend to make a lot of stubs reagarding this topic in order to rationalize consolidating them with Scientific Opinion on Climate Change, and diluting that very informative page to a section of the "whole." However, I won't theorize, since I have to assume good faith.

Regardless, this is simply better covered under "Economics of Global Warming." Airborne84 (talk) 01:52, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
