what tissue are the ejaculatory ducts made of?[edit]

Using common sense logic, the ducts must be held closed all the time in order to prevent the contents from escaping and to prevent them from being filled with urine from the pressure of the bladder while urinating (which is quite high). But how is that accomplished? Is it a sphincter, or blood dilated tissue or are they opened by muscles? Reverse ejaculation[edit]

What prevents the ejaculate from taking the wrong path and traveling up into the bladder instead of exiting the the body through the penis? And is it that some surgeries, such as holep, used to correct enlarged prostates have the side effect of causing the ejaculate to travel into the bladder instead of exiting the nody through the penis? 76.17.252.243 (talk) 07:30, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
