The language used is really bad, full of grammatic mistakes and to top it, the page is locked! — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 10:05, 15 November 2012 (UTC) Why are almost all new Bollywood releases being locked? I have not seen this behavior for Hollywood films? This goes against the philosophy of Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 11:39, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello,If anybody watched and remind the movie completely then plz try to expand the plot. Zion1985 (talk) 20:35, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

lmao what plot? It's a classic star driven movie from bollywood. Most people went to see salman and karina sing and dance behind exotic locations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 11:05, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

What is difference among thriller and we are family action? Are these not the same terms. --Omer123hussain (talk) 22:02, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

They are completely different. An action film usually involves physical action in the form of fights or so, whereas a thriller film is controlled by an element of suspense. See Action film and Thriller film. Secret of success (talk) 12:18, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Ek Tha Tiger comics were launched to promote the film. Please add this in the marketing section. Thanks. (talk) 15:35, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Music Reviews[edit]

Hi! I think that the music critical reception section would need to be re-written. Also more reviews could be added. Thanks. 16:44, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Suggestions please. For reviews, we only take into account reliable sources. Secret of success (talk) 11:19, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. Hope this helps. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] Thanks. (talk) 18:41, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Glamsham, Koimoi, Bollyspice, Bollywood Life and Indicine are not reliable sources. The rest have been added. Thanks. Secret of success (talk) 14:31, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

At least Glamsham, Koimoi and Indicine are reliable sources, add it. Believe me. (talk) 16:51, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Um, its not a question of believing you or not. If you feel that they are reliable sources, please explain how they pass the reliable sources guideline (mostly by showing their mention in other reputed sources like newspapers and magazines). Secret of success (talk) 15:11, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

I have added 4 times music cover but the admin is removing it please don't remove it I have added official cover it does not fails wikipedia's non-free criteria. Kskhh (talk) 17:27, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Apologies for my language: that User:secret of success is starting to remove everything that is necessary! First Indic scripts (never mind now), he removes English translations claiming there is a consensus (bad idea) and now non-free images! Well even movie posters and screenshots are non-free, is he gonna remove them soon?! Kailash29792 (talk) 02:47, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Critical Reception[edit]

Taran Adarsh is a world re-known sold out critic. Don't add his reviews.--almightyvegeta (talk) 20:43, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

If you are having difficulty reaching consensus on this issue, then please request neutral opinions and help by posting at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force. --A. B. (talkcontribs) 21:57, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Stop Messing with the format. Tranny Adarsh's reviews will not feature on Wiki.--almightyvegeta (talk) 11:23, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Almightyvegeta, stop messing with the article. Taran Adarsh is a reliable film critic. Don't think that you can control the article, because YOU are not the lone editor of this article and Wikipedia. So don't tell us (especially adminstrators) ideas to mess up with articles. --Plea$ant 1623 17:35, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
If you are talking about this Taran Adarsh (I hope you are doing so), then he is a notable critic and journalist. --Tito Dutta 11:03, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────The critic rating of Ek tha Tiger on reviewgang website here *[8] is 6/10 then what is more appropriate "mixed" or "positive to mixed" in critical reception section.---zeeyanketu talk to me 22:07, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Positive to mixed is appropriate. As far as I can see, 5 is mixed, and 7 is positive. So for 6, the choice is obvious. Secret of success (talk) 11:09, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Possible improper hyperlinks[edit]

The phrase "a full-blown Hindi film, with desh prem, farz and mohabbat as part of the recipe" under the section Release and Reception > Critical Reception > India has links from "desh prem", "farz" and "mohabbat" to 3 different movies, whereas I think the reviewer meant the three emotions. Please check this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RamakrishnanRS (talkcontribs) 15:50, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Most of the sources used in the article is from Box Office India (BOI) since this is the most reliable source used for Bollywood movies. BOI has not yet come out with their new report on Ek Tha Tiger so we should wait til they have the new report for this week. Torreslfchero (talk) 20:41, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

Important: source for box office information.[edit]

The issue is that Box Office India failed to declare the film's success (e.g all time blockbuster) and hence provided incomplete information. Every other trade source on the web accepts this film as an all time blockbuster.

I would therefore like to request that bollywood hungama, represented by the notable trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh, should be used as a secondary source in the future, in cases like this where Box Office India fails to give complete information.

Boxoficeindia take time but never failed in updating information. You may see other good or complete articles for your doubt. While giving any status for bollywood films ,the cost of budget and distribution are also considered.---zeeyanketu talk to me 16:42, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

If this is the case then then by all considerations it can be safely called an all time blockbuster. However, Box Office India didn't say this when EVERY other source did.

Hence, it would be sufficient to use another source to cite the claim that it is an atbb, right?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Factual Proof (talkcontribs) 13:40, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

Following a discussion few years back a consensus was made to use boxofficeindia as most reliable source and i have also found enough good reason to give it first priority..cheers.Nuvola apps kopete.png---zeeyanketu talk to me 21:04, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
ETT is NOT an all-time blockbuster bcoz of double-digit inflation in ticket prices during 2008-12. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 15:56, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

10 crore Days[edit]

Please add information to the article that the film netted in India minimum of 10 crore for 9 days. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 15:49, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Doubt regarding Bollywood movies[edit]

I am shocked to see that Wikipedia provides figures pertaining to bollywood box office business from which is not genuine. There are other releant sources like,, which provide accurate figures of box office. I request you to remove restriction from movie "Ek Tha Tiger" so that I can make changes to its collection which is about INR.198cr nut Wikipedia mentions it as INR 186 cr (Source which is not accurate at all). Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Afzal57hhh (talkcontribs) 13:58, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

See the discussion above on this and if you have to add something use {{edit semi protected}}. If your request is ok then it will added by some other users. Torreslfchero (talk) 09:10, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Doubts about Collection in India[edit]

There are a lot of doubts in wikipedian sites about the total nett of this film. in some places it is 178 in some places it is 185 and some says 198 crore. As i can't access worldwide sites so i request someone plz update the accurte business of Ek Tha Tiger in India separately. (Dr. Shahid Alam)(Talk to Me) 18:15, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi,As per consensus,we use figures from because it is official tracker and only for boxoffice purposes, thinking of so many create only trouble and edit warring so keep it simple and follow the ongoing trend same as boxofficemojo for Hollywood flicks and figures are updated already. Not to worry---zeeyanketu talk to me 18:53, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
