Notability[edit]

The AfD was closed as no consensus because of all of the !voters who claimed notability without providing any sources to prove it. There are still no sources which prove it's notable, but my attempt at getting some with the "notable" tag keeps getting reverted (once as "annoying", which doesn't seem to be a meaningful reason). I've started a discussion at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Poetry#Elvis.27s_Twin_Sister, although I'm not sure how often that page is frequented. Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 23:57, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Huh?[edit]

The textbook AQA GCSE English Literature a Short Stories Pre-1914 Poetry By Paul Burns, Jan Edge, categorizing it as a good example of a poem based on family relationships, finding happiness, use of well-known characters from history/literature, and colloquial language.

I'm not sure that the title of the textbook is correct here, as the "a" seems out of place, but besides that, pre-1914? Who then was a gentleman? (talk) 00:11, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The GCSE English Literature exam is split into section A (prose) and Section B (poetry), the textbook above is concerned primarily with Section A though for some odd reason also covers all pre-1914 poetry within the qualification but only some of those taught that were created post 1914. I found a copy of the book and tried to clarify the title. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.190.136.11 (talk) 11:26, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
