COI Disclosure[edit]

I suppose I should disclose that I do have a personal interest in writing this article, as the subject is an ancestor of mine. With that in mind, I've tried to provide sources as frequently as possible. I could expand the Personal life section significantly, but I'd like to see if I can track down any sort of verifiable information before expanding it much further. Budd BB-1[edit]

"Whereas stainless steel later became the standard material for aircraft..."

Say what? I'm only aware of one other stainless steel airplane. Aluminum was the standard material until carbon fiber came along.
