Has anyone had this procedure done to their child? They want to slow down the growth in her good leg while the one with a previously severe femar break in her other leg catches up. They also want to put a Distal Medial Femral 8 plate in her bad leg, and remove the hardware in about a years time. They say they want to do this asap, scheduling for about the 1st of June. Any comments or suggestions? Thank you. Lori
