[edit] Worthy?

Wikipedia had "Eric Davis" listed as one of the most linked-to entries with no information. So I started it. You have hundreds of other athletes of lesser importance. Inmates running the Wiki-asylum?

I firmly believe that he deserves an article, but it needs a lot more than this. Dale Arnett 01:57, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

as do i and that is why i started it User:WillC

The only thing I really felt the need to delete was something about him being coverted from shortstop because of Barry Larkin. Just for the record, Davis was playing center field in 1984, a year before the Reds even drafted Larkin.Montco 03:01, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Davis never played SS and had a total of 50 errors in his career. The only infield he has ever played was at 1st base in 1996 when he played just 1 game at the position. M Duffy Sept 3, 2006.

[edit] re: The "throw"

This article refers to Eric Davis throwing out Bobby Bonilla at third base in Game 5 of the 1990 NLCS. Paul O'Neill in Game 2 threw out Andy Van Slyke.
