origin of nickname?[edit]

Perhaps somebody could add something about the origin of the nickname? I don't know anything myself.

Idk about his parents being diplomats, but part of it was a take-off on Lucky Pierre, "always in the middle", plus the above-mentined feelthy postcards from France.
