Gunboat[edit]

Good catch on the gunboat thing, its been some years since I've had the pleasure of playin EVO, and there were quite a few things I had to look up. I hear there's an addon for Nova that lets you play it... I'll have to look into that. Roffler 19:59, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Strands[edit]

What's the deal with saying the strands are all the same race. Is there any ingame proof of this? Mindule 20:03, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

When you play through the strand story lines, the game gives you background on the war and the strand. I can't remember specifics, as it's been a while since I've played. 68.35.26.105 23:19, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

EVO merger[edit]

I plan to merge this article into Escape Velocity over the coming days. It should not be simply deleted - that was not the consensus on the three-person AfD. FCYTravis (talk) 21:47, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Redirected for now - you can still access the code though :) Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 01:47, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
I've restored the article, as TwilightPhoenix has expressed interest in addressing the concerns that brought the article to AfD in the first place. EVula // talk // // 20:31, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Improving this page[edit]

Now that this is restored, I have some pretty major plans to start making heavy improvements to this article to bring it up to Wikipedia standards. It may be a few days before something substantial is going, depending on my free time. But this is basically what my immediate plans are...

  • Rip out everything under governments
  • Improve the Lead section
  • Improve the Gameplay section
  • Add a Plot section
  • Add a Reception section with sourced reviews (a list of reviews with links to official ones can be found here
  • Work in information about plug-ins somewhere
  • Work in information about it's port to Escape Velocity Nova somewhere

I'll be working on my edits before posting them here in a sandbox at user:TwilightPhoenix/EVOSandbox. Feel free to help out. TwilightPhoenix (talk) 22:52, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it's been awhile since I've worked on this. Busy with returning to college and a few other messes Real Life™ threw at me. Anyways, now that things have settled down a bit, I'm going to try to work on this article again. I'm going to do reception next. Any help is appreciated, and a link to reviews is above. However, bear in mind most of those pages are expired and require the Wayback Machine to access. A shame, but that's the internet for you. TwilightPhoenix (talk) 04:50, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Haven't forgotten about this, just busy with classes. Tougher than expected load this semester. Again, I'll try to work on the Reception section once classes are done. Also again, link to reviews are above, though you'll need the Way Back Machine to retrieve them. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, but be aware it could be several weeks before I reply, due to my college workload. TwilightPhoenix (talk) 21:21, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
