"She was the first person ever to be married to a European member of a royal family on American soil."[edit]

How can that be true, given Elizabeth Patterson Bonaparte... AnonMoos (talk) 12:19, 25 February 2012 (UTC) Maybe the person who wrote that agrees with Napoleon that Prince Jerome's marriage to Elizabeth was void? Try as he might, though, old Napoleon couldn't convince the Pope. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.128.79.101 (talk) 07:06, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please resolve this about the date[edit]

For one of the children, I now have this (death year changed from 1944 to 1934, which occurs in the article about his father, [[Folke Bernadotte]}:

Fredrik Oscar Bernadotte of Wisborg, January 10, 1934, Stockholm – August 30, 1934, Stockholm.[18]

But when I go to footnote 18, I find this:

New York Times (August 22, 1934). "Bernadotte Infant Dies; Count Frederic Oscar the Son of Former Estelle Manville". New York Times. Retrieved April 22, 2012.

How can the death have been August 30 and the New York Times reference be August 22? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 (talk) 15:32, 2 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
