Laid eggs?[edit]

This article assumes the Eusthenopteron laid eggs and that it was normal for Devonian tetrapods and tetrapodomorphs to go through a larval stage. Admittedly, this is supported by the sources, but I think this thinking is now out-of-date. The current paradigm is to make no assumptions and consider possibilities. For example, ovovivipary or (less likely) vivipary with placenta and umbilical cord. Zyxwv99 (talk) 23:30, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Skeleton?[edit]

The article says "Eusthenopteron's notoriety comes from the pattern of its fin endoskeleton, which bears a distinct humerus, ulna, and radius (in the fore-fin) and femur, tibia, and fibula (in the pelvic fin)."

Then why not include a diagram of the Eustenopteron's skeleton? DouglasHeld (talk) 19:04, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
