Torrents are not limited to 50GB, as the article says "as large as 50GB" (or so), there are torrents that are 200GB + 24.129.237.34 (talk) 03:47, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions for Neutrality[edit]

This article is missing quite a few things from it, for instance, the justification for the FAP (teehee). It was explained to me that if an ISP, for instance a satellite ISP, could ensure that their investment in satellite time, transmitters, etc. is not bumping their cost into a higher bracket, thus making internet more expensive for each of their customers. It also allows them to (pretend to) fairly charge customers for the bandwidth they are using.

The article should also have a short introduction phrased something like

"Fair Access Policy is a Bandwidth limit placed by Internet Service Providers on some customers in an attempt to provide equal service to all customers."

Also the "See also" section should be links and explanations only, not a biased rant against the corporations.

Personally, I support net neutrality in the idea that an ISP should Provide the whole internet, not just the "good" sites, seeing as how obviously relative the terms can be, and that Fair Access Policies should be made to actually be somewhat fair, but presenting an incredibly biased view on it in an article won't convince anyone. This article has a lot of potential and if I was better at researching I would help more. LIMEY (talk) 09:55, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
