I think we should have a cladogram on ferae, so that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to create it. User:4444hhhh

Does anyone know if any structural links exist between pangolins and carnivores? For example, mongooses are primitive carnivores, and some of them can roll up for defense; pangolins have scent glands, are they similar at all to those of mongooses? 153.2.246.30 (talk) 02:21, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More information about when this clade was formed and the research that was found to have this clade would be interesting. Also more primary research as to what other animals are considered primitive and how they fit in. SilkyVermilingua (talk) 04:42, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Phylogeny of extant taxa—position of pangolins[edit]

Living pangolins and carnivorans also share few unusual derived morphological and anatomical traits,

Since the sentence goes on to list some traits, should this actually read also share a few...? Aboctok (talk) 18:52, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
