FLAG is now a 75,000km cable[edit]

FLAG is now a 75,000km cable, owned by Reliance Communications.

In October 2003 FLAG Telecom announced an amalgamation with Reliance Gateway. This was subsequently approved by the FLAG Telecom shareholders in January 2004. FLAG Telecom still operates under the name today, the only difference being the parent company. Rarelibra 15:15, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Current Situation[edit]

A third cable[edit]

I think the third cable, FALCON, should be added to the wikinews article currently on the front page--Jóhann Heiðar Árnason (talk) 06:13, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Longest?[edit]

SEA-ME-WE 3 also claims to be the longest at 36,000km, which I guess means this isn't the longest... thoughts? --taras (talk) 02:48, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Map[edit]

it would be great to have a world map with the cable! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.106.133.215 (talk) 12:16, 28 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
