Hey all![edit]

Final Fantasy Unlimited is awesome! I want to see the other 25 episodes. If anyone knows where I can get ahold of the After Story, please email me at haveaconvulsion@hotmail.com or leave a thang here. ^_^ Rhys Stevens

The After Story is only in manga form, as far as I know. 21:22, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Minor edits[edit]

I've made a few minor edits here and there, fixing a couple of tiny things... I wonder why Kinokongu, Somosan and the Frog Sage get mentions, when others such as Viking (the creature Fungus rides when Cid's Caterine gets damaged), Cube Ashra, Walnut, Houjikisukii and Hughug do not... Official Character Card System?[edit]

Does anyone know about this? I have about 150 cards or so, from "Level 1" (there's also an expansion, "Level 2"), and I know how to play, and it's kind of interesting and all that... But I haven't been able to find many sources online about it (aside from a few pages selling it, and maybe one or two pages in Japanese that tend to talk about how to play it better), so I'm not sure what to say about it here, aside from that it exists... I might be bold and add it in, but I'll first scour the instruction booklet for more details on when and by who it was made, so I can have some actual information. -JC 23:01, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image deletion?[edit]

What image was deleted? I wish someone would have asked about it before just removing it. Having something is likely considered Fair Use, especially if it's the cover art and at a web resolution. -JC 03:50, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It must have been deleted because the orginal uploder forgot to tag it. I have replaced it. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 13:13, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

After Story[edit]

Looking at the Character list, there seems to be quite a bit of story in the aditional media (After and Before?), but Wikipedia does not contain much info. It would be great if someone could add some infos about. SilentGuy 22:10, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Style[edit]

Someone has been nice enough to add some information on the After story in the Character list, but this is done in a terrible fashion (the writer seems to rush to see how much plot s/he can reveal and neglects style in the process). Some cleaning up is needed. Also, it is proper style to refer to events in the story in 'present tense'.

There are currently summary-style fan translations of the After story available on the net. A more complete translation should follow (though not likely an official one).

Continuations[edit]

Is there any way at all to get one's hands on the assorted sequels? 68.225.240.87 06:39, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you could try hunting for them in online stores, but considering most of them are almost half a decade old, you'll probably find them out of stock anywhere. I don't know about the After Spirals, since the official Japanese FF:U site has gone down. Although there are fan translations available on the net. ChibiKareshi 06:13, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was just thinking about asking about this. Might you have a link handy? -- Jelly Soup 11:01, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Character page merger[edit]

The character page has no references, and is unlikely to ever be a good stand alone topic. Much better to put the character information into this article and bolster this one for GA status. Judgesurreal777 21:55, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I disagree with the notion/ We should keep the character pages as they were. Fractyl 05:38, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Reasons? Kariteh 08:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
For one, all the info on the series characters that were massed from the anime, FFU Before, and the FFU After stories. Another being the cast listed for both versions. Fractyl 14:49, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Never mind that, Fractyl. All the info can be moved into the Final Fantasy Wiki. Though dumping it carelessly would be a really, really bad idea. — Bluerで す。 15:45, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Music page merger[edit]

Very scattered, would be a nice succinct part of the main article. Judgesurreal777 16:20, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:FFUphase7.jpg[edit]

Image:FFUphase7.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:13, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Character Page[edit]

I believe it should be restored. Fractyl 05:49, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See [1]. Kariteh 08:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the FFWiki doesn't have a scrap of that info, so...Yeah. That "solution" up there was - pardon my increasing annoyance and temper, but - a damn lie. Nothing was even "dumped", and there was no attempt to preserve any shred of that info.KrytenKoro 13:02, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All efforts start with the self. You can recover the info of the page from the History and start the said character articles in the FFWiki. I mean, don't rely on others so much, Wikipedians are not paid to do things and they have their other concerns to address. — Blue 10:41, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parsing problems[edit]

Google searches sometimes feature related questions, answered by a website preview. One such question and answer is:

Is there a Final Fantasy anime?
) is an anime television series […]

Apparently their parser thinks the parenthesis begins a new sentence. Is there anything we can do about this to get it to parse correctly? —151.132.206.26 (talk) 14:55, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
