Merging with Banks of Australia[edit]

Disagree with merge. The financial system comprise of:

  • Financial institutions—banks (and other authorised deposit-taking institutions), insurers, superannuation providers, finance companies;
  • Financial markets—debt, equity, derivative markets
  • Payments system—cash, cheques, EFTPOS, RTGS and other high-value payment systems
