[edit] Active Metabolite?

OK, so Befuraline has an active metabolite, right? The stimulant drug Benzylpiperazine

It seems entirely likely that a similar metabolite may exist resulting in Methylenedioxybenzylpiperazine, unless destruction of the MDBZP core overwhelmingly occurs first:

Given that Centrophenoxine shares in similarity the rest of the molecule, with the MDBZP section replaced by DMAE, and that Parachlorophenoxyacetate doesn't seem to be much mentioned on its own other than as a part of centrophenoxine, it seems to me like Parachlorophenoxyacetate may have some potential worth looking into as a component of future prodrug development. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zaphraud (talkcontribs) 22:11, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
