A request[edit]

Wasn't the XB the first falcon to comply to then new emission regulations, which saw noticeable drop in power across the range compared to the XA series models? Perhaps some mention if someone knows more of the specifics? --Falcadore (talk) 02:53, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Change happened at the end of 1973 for manual GTs, so a 1973 manual XB GT had the same engine as a XA GT. AFter that they changed form US to Australian engines. 210.10.164.128 (talk) 22:47, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mad Max[edit]

"Mad" Max Rockatansky drove a modified Falcon XB in the movie Mad Max, making it possibly the most famous Falcon XB outside Australia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bizzybody (talkcontribs) 05:02, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conversion to left side[edit]

As far as I know, the Australian Falcons were designed and built completely for Australian markets and thus the drivers sat on the right seat. It would be interesting to know has anyone ever succesfully converted an Australian Falcon (XB) so that all the driver's equipment (steering wheel, pedals, other controls, etc.) were swapped from the right side to the left side. ––Nikolas Ojala (talk) 18:41, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
