Forde Abbey is in the Parish of Thorncombe, Dorset. It is close to Chard, Somerset but not in Somerset. Colinrosewell 05:52, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Forde Abbey, Chard, Somerset. TA20 4LU England. FROM THEIR WEBSITE 174.73.100.217 (talk) 10:24, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
There is a difference between a postal address which uses the nearest large community as a locator and the actual physical location which may lie across the boundary of the county. A close look at the Ordnance Survey shows that Forde lies just on the Dorset side of the border which runs along the river Axe which borders the property. Dabbler (talk) 10:52, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
