Merger proposal[edit]

I agree; they clearly refer to the same man and both contain good information. Perhaps Francisco Saverio Clavigero is a latinized form of his name. However it is much less common (as per Google). The articles should be merged under Francisco Javier Clavijero, which is also the spelling on the title page of his book. --Rbraunwa 14:07, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
