Gabbar Singh (character)Gabbar Singh – This appears to be the primary topic as the other Gabbar Singhs are not as well known as this (some, such as the Telugu film being named after the character) and this gets more viewership than all of them except the film. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:51, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. As the film gets more views than the character (around four times as many [1]) there is no evidence that the character is the primary topic. Tassedethe (talk) 14:42, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
In the Telugu film, the character nicknames himself after the dacoit from Sholay. The film is hardly as significant as the character. --Kailash29792 (talk) 14:55, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Just because something is named after something else doesn't automatically make the first thing the primary topic. See e.g. Boston. Tassedethe (talk) 15:53, 13 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Important. Andrewa (talk) 11:30, 19 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. It seems that the film may be the primary topic, if there is one. But the character is not, on the evidence. That's unless the claim that the film is hardly as significant as the character can be substantiated... it seems unlikely, the character does appear in other films but these are all derivatives of, and far less famous than, the original.
