Gary Naysmith nickname is El Blanco Carlos --82.152.203.115 02:38, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article is out of date. Gary is now Everton's first choice left back. He has been through pre-season, and will continue to be so due to Valente and Pistone ageing/being currently injured.

You should have thought about that before you became a persistent vandal. I'll make the change. HawkerTyphoon 16:36, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I resent being named as a vandal. In the past, admittedly, I have been guilty of misdemeanours. Recently, hoever, I have repented and only attempted to make constructive edits.

You have a god complex. Stop messing with my chi.
Article is only semi-protected now so any registered user can make the change. Or state exactly how the text should be changed and readd . — Laura Scudder 22:56, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Naysmith has recently recovered from injury but is yet to really challenge for a first-team place at Everton due to the form of Valente." - this needs to be changed. Naysmith is now in the first team, and his good form means he is keeping his place.

I'm from Liverpool (although I'm red) and have heard the El Blanco Carlos nickname used before by several of the enemy that I've worked with Slick Beef 14:21, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Too right, the nickname may have been created in a somewhat ironic context, but it has stuck. I was at the Wigan game on Saturday, Nace was having a mare, and at one point an old fella behind me shouted "Carlos my arse, I'd rather have Bjorn f****** Kvarme"

Why wont it let me put El Blanco's nickname as "El Blanco Carlos"?

Reads slightlyu like an advert, and is missing a comprehensive history and biography. HawkerTyphoon 01:09, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
