the wrong George Robertson[edit]

Moments ago I removed (compare versions) one full paragraph that belongs to George Robertson (bookseller) (1825–1898). Both were both bookseller and publisher, this one decades later and only in partnership or corporation.

Our cited source Dictionary of Australian Biography: R covers these two GR consecutively, with the offending content in the last sentence on GR the elder (no relation). It's already in our biography of GR the elder.

There may be other confusions of the two GR here at EN.wiki.
Last hour I removed a Wikidata claim that Angus & Robertson (this man's partnership or corporation) succeeded George Robertson & Company (the other's, if it was yet "and Company" during his time --our biog implies not). --P64 (talk) 15:33, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
