The world of geospatial metadata needs a place where information and lessons learned can be posted and, more imporantly, found by users all over the world. I have read the various pages about content and I think Wikipedia is the perfect place for this sort of resource. Thoughts?
This article completely missed the point - it does not provide a definition of geospatial metadata. Regardless of whether there is one accepted definition, the entire point of a wikipedia article is to explain the term in question. This article simply describes the standards associated with the usage and application of metadata. This is not acceptable in wiki form. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.96.36.199 (talk • contribs) 18:24, 25 June 2011
