To IP User: 170.250.23.223 - my warning is about your edits: [1] and [2] - Please stop adding content which is not present in the sources, but based on your personal views. If you have a different opinion, please discuss and present your sources here. Thank you. Suppcuzz (talk) 15:19, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I repeat my warning. You did it once again without discussion: [3].
IP User: 103.71.46.45 - Stop this WP:Sockpuppetry. You want to perform unsourced changes? Create an account and take part in the discussion first. Suppcuzz (talk) 17:41, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To User:Markflex - Your contribution ([4]) contains a lot of fake information not present inside the sources. For example, there is absolutely no reliable source which would confirm a theory about German soldiers fighting in the Haitian Revolution along with the Poles and black Haitians. There is also nothing about Germans being more willing to integrate than all other groups. Stop this, or present sources here. Suppcuzz (talk) 15:31, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir or Madam:

I do not add personal views or opinions. All I have added is supported by facts. Your version is not based on facts. Your first paragraph is completely false. I will concentrate on only that one for now. Your second sentence about Germans growing coffee is false. They were in survival mode from the start. I will add the information later today. Read Moreau de Saint-Méry, “Description Topographique,... politique et historique ... Saint Domingue” He is the best source on Haïti pre revolution and independence. He has a chapter on Bombarde and the Germans. Your third sentence about receiving citizenship from Dessalines and mixing is false. By 1789 Bombardopolis as it became known later was most probably empty of Germans. By 1800 it certainly was. If they mixed, show me any concrete reporting of this. Traces in the population, German names that remained? The Germans whom Dessalines appreciated and gave citizenship too were the German soldiers who came to Haïti with the French expedition of Leclerc and changed side. In Haïti it is widely reported that some of these Germans stood behind Dessalines in Gonaives on January 1st, 1804 when he formally declared independence. Dessalines also is reported to have put them in charge of the armory. Having not yet found a reference citation for this, I deleted that sentence. Your next sentence about Germans designing the Citadelle is false. The Citadelle was designed, as its name implies, by Monsieur Laférrière a French architect. A well known fact.

It is evident that your knowledge in this matter is, I am sorry to say, limited. It also seems dictated by an hidden agenda of yours.

I will gladly continue sharing, not opinions, but facts with you.

I don't need to read these information here, because I already saw them in the article. I need you to show me sources, at least one reliable source.
I did not say nothing about Germans growing coffee. My version of the article was the one without fake sentences: [5]. And this is the version which I will restore until you will show me links to sources that contain these two information:
1. Please give us a source where we can read about Germans switching sides and fighting alongside black Haitians and Polish Legions against the French.
2. Also, Please provide us a source which states that Germans integrated with the Haitian society better than other groups. - It sounds like a personal opinion, not an encyclopedic fact.
We need sources. So tell me, in which reliable sources can we find these information? Suppcuzz (talk) 23:03, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suppcuzz

You are a super Wikipedia influencer. Sad that people like you mold the perception of history. You change the pages without leaving any trace. Threaten, hammer, uninterested in the truth. Pursuing only your agenda. Your latest where you add the comment that Germany was not know for slavery “in this part of the world” is half truth. It is being argued recently that they might have practiced it when they had colonies starting in 1884. My story line predates this. We live in a four dimensional universe of space and time.

Hello.
  • ad 1: This source says only that Germans and Poles deserted from Leclerc's army, however it is wrong, while a) Poles never were in Leclerc's expedition, they were fighters in Napoleon's army and were known as the separate unit named the Polish Legions, b) it does not say nothing about Germans fighting alongside Black Haitians and Polish Legions in the Haitian rebellion of slaves. Moreover, I cannot find any other source which says that Germans deserted from Leclerc's army, than this one, and few other, quoting this one, c) there's nothing about Germans being responsible for maintaining the armory for Dessalines’ Haitian troops.
  • ad 2: You posted another Wikipedia article as a source? Well, I see that this data is also not present in the source given there. Therefore it should not be there.
I consider your latter post balancing on the edge of a personal attack as I only asked you for reliable sources and nothing more than that, while you start accusing me of things I did not do. It was me who created this discussion page, I only needed some verification of the contents that you add.
My offered consensus is this: [6].
Do you agree? Suppcuzz (talk) 21:25, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree for now. I’m tired of all this for now. Read the original page that stood for years probably. Not a single sentence with value and/or truth. I’ll stand with the present page as progress. I’ll send you in due time proof of what I’m advancing. They will however probably be in French from Haitian sources. I recently saw on the French Wikipedia pages that they are in the belief that the Germans granted citizenship were from Bombardopolis... False. We will talk more later. Best Regards WH

PS: I don’t know how to make all the facets and conventions of Wikipedia work. Therefore, it is tiring and frustrating. Resulting in limited engagement from my side. Hope you understand. Markflex (talk) 17:05, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
