The article says that Girolamo Rainaldi started work on the facade of Il Gesu in 1642. The article on Il Gesu says the facade of the church was done by Giacomo della Porta, an earlier architect. Given the style of the facade, an earlier date seems more appropriate.
You are entirely correct. The person who added that tidbit was confused. Rainaldi created the facade for Chiesa di Gesù e Maria and not the Il Gesu church. I will change this. Indrian 23:10, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
