Merge analysis[edit]

This is a bit of a complicated one from the standpoint of merging, because as {{Inappropriate title}} says, "The title of this article seems not to accurately describe the article's subject matter." That means two separate evaluations:

  1. Which article(s) to merge the article content to
  2. Which article to redirect the title "Global Convection Currents" to

Redirect[edit]

Content[edit]

The Convection Currents section, which is half the content, is a summary of the topic convection. The article already covers the topic in great detail, and seems to adequately summarize itself, so there is nothing to merge.

The article's lead section doesn't really summarize the article's content, as it, despite the title's ambiguity, limits the scope to global meteorological atmospheric convection or atmospheric circulation.

Template:Meteorological variables shows that we already have several articles on meteorological atmospheric convection:

This navigation template can be found at the bottom of the Convection article I'm redirecting to.

So, I'm not really finding any content to merge, as the topics are already thoroughly covered elsewhere. – Wbm1058 (talk) 11:56, 15 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
