The gal or the galileo[edit]

The name for this unit is so overwhelmingly "gal" rather than galileo that Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, Eleventh Edition]] has neither an entry under "galileo" with this meaning, nor a mention of an alternative name under the "gal" entry. Gene Nygaard 13:23, 3 October 2005 (UTC)

Better Image[edit]

I would like to see the image replace with something like http://images.nationalgeographic.com/wpf/media-live/photos/000/342/cache/earth-surface-gravity-map_34243_600x450.jpg though that may be difficult due to licencing. Kevink707 (talk) 18:22, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
