80.58.19.172's additions are nice but verging on POV, surely? eg.

| Howe's ability for improvising is epic, he's known for being one of the most fluid players in the business. Like a fellow bass player noted ...notes simply drop off him....

Any chance of toning this down? Expressions like "comes his way" don't sound particulary professional. "A fellow bass player" -- who? --Lambyuk 23:40, 28 September 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for adding Billy Sheehan...can you find the source? Lambyuk 06:29, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

"Howe has established himself as a highly sought after session musician, being hired by mainstream acts such as Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias, *NSYNC and Justin Timberlake to perform with them on tour."

LOL!! Oh well, he probably got paid lots of money...

AFAIK "Etraction" is not his solo album. He recorded "Extraction" with Denis Chambers and Victor Wooten.

[edit] Album pages added

As with Tony MacAlpine and Frank Gambale, I have created pages for each of Howe's solo albums (those of which I physically own). Mac dreamstate (talk) 00:42, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Restoration

I've seen that this page could do some major editing. I know that Greg Howe isn't as well known as Steve Vai, but it could be nice if someone could clean this page up a bit. Reply if you wish to assist. Genxima (talk) 23:10, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Recent edit warring

What is with this image that the user 71.93.209.24 keeps adding? It's getting rather irritating now. Mac dreamstate (talk) 07:04, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Alright, I would really like to know what the issue is behind this image that keeps being added, and subsequently removed. Could the user who keeps doing so please post their reasoning here so that this can be resolved? Mac dreamstate (talk) 11:58, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism? A thousand of us watched him first incredulously, then in awe, transform the moment from another classic class-clown caper to budding guitar hero. God forbid some character and soul, even genius, be introduced into the cliched litany of virtuosity.

Greg, I'm sure, is still chuckling. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blignit (talkcontribs) 02:06, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Oh, yeah, and check the birthdate. He graduated high school in 1980, which would have made him 16 by the citation. He was bright, but not that bright. Blignit —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blignit (talkcontribs) 02:27, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

Birthdate checked. Ah, precocity. Blignit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.15.31.49 (talk) 10:59, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

And I'm still wondering how, Mac Dreamstate, Wikipedia differentiates and characterizes the incipient stage persona of one artist as vandalism from, say, the Iggy Pop page reporting his early stage acts of self-mutilation, rolling in glass, and displays of public exposure? Blignit —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blignit (talkcontribs) 01:55, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

If, Blignit, you are indeed so sure of these 'antics' you've described, then why not provide a credible source for them? Mac Dreamstate (talk) 23:59, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
