Spontaneous energy generation[edit]

How can two 5,500 kW engines produce 10,740 kW? Lightmouse 14:15, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • "2 x 6 cylinder Scott-Sulzer Diesels of 7,000 hp driving twin screws, developing 10,740 kW" is the line given in the source used, the Sea Power Centre page for the ship. I don't know why this conflicts with the individual engine kW vaue given by the template. -- saberwyn 10:42, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
