No consensus, no merge. -- P 1 9 9   17:53, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

this doesn't need to be it's own article. it can be merged with the article for the movie. 98.172.58.7 (talk) 19:02, 17 November 2010 (UTC) I concur, the Hanson Brothers are primarily connected to Slap Shot and other connections are very minor and it would help flesh out the Slap Shot wiki. 06:34 23 February 2011 — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheStarmon (talkcontribs) 13:34, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I completely disagree. The Hanson Brothers are enough of their own entity that they should have their own page. They do charity events and things that fall outside the scope of Slap Shot. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.2.237.184 (talk) 20:16, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think this should be merged with the Slap Shot article. The film is where the Hansons came from and it is that that made them into legends. Without the film, they wouldn't even exist. If they do charity events, that small piece of information could be included with their entry on Slap Shot. It doesn't make sense for them not to be mentioned in the Slap Shot page and there is no need for them to have 2 entries. AcePants (talk) 21:26, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think this article should be merged because the Hanson Brothers are real people. They are based off the Carlson Brothers. The characters depicted in Slap Shot are a fictional representation of their antics. Plus the Hanson Brothers (actors) have appeared in other films. They are not exclusive to just the Slap Shot Movie. You can see the real history of the hanson brothers here: http://www.vintageminnesotahockey.com/carlsonbrothers.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr.Donk (talkcontribs) 05:37, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
