Friday Night Debate[edit]

Chris Matthews,

Mr Matthews my question regarding the debate is: During the period where sanctions were being discussed regarding Iran, Senator McCain made the comment he would create an Economic groug made up of various countries which would level their own sanctions, headed by I presume the United States. My questions are:

1. Would this group take the place of the U.N. or would they act independently? 2. Which countries would make up this group? 3. What reaction would the countries have that were excluded? 4. Would this group take their agenda throughout the world? 5. If I understand a group under this idea; if a country does not do as the group wants, would the group try to destroy that country economically? 6. Isn't an idea like this what is wrong with how the United States is viewed in the world? 7. Why didn't any of the talking heads talk about this idea?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Roll of VP[edit]

The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.

Its amazing how Media twist what this says.

Michele Bachman[edit]

is a nutcase, but do we really need three long paragraphs about one edition of the show? Anything that detailed should probably go in Bachman's own article. Alex finds herself awake at night (Talk · What keeps her up) 03:44, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Whether or not Congresswoman Bachman is a "nutcase" is irrelevant, however, the main point made above is accurate. The long section on Bachman falls into the categories of WP:UNDUE and WP:COATRACK. Badmintonhist (talk) 05:01, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

In that same vein, this article is flamingly POV. The "Notable Moments" section is a disgustingly transparent attempt to beat Chris Matthews little drum with all his great little victories. However, I didn't read anything about his "Thrill up my leg" moment or any of his other embarassing/absurd moments. Can't say I'm really suprised... But I would reccomend changing the name of this section from "Notable Moments" to "Most Glorious Victories Over the Fascist Oppressor." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.177.14.223 (talk) 22:31, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
