Primary references?[edit]

Why are HK, Singapore and KL being used as primary references to the location of Manila? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.200.18.91 (talk) November 2, 2009

Duplicate content[edit]

Considering there's already a tag atop Manila suggesting it be split into multiple articles, it looks like someone already split off the history section into its own separate article. However now a decision needs to be made whether to remove all of Manila#History and just have a {{main}} article link referring readers here. I figured this should be discussed first as it is quite a major edit and I don't usually edit in this subject. -- œ 06:47, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is missing from the recently created city timeline article? Please add relevant content. Contributions welcome. Thank you. -- M2545 (talk) 17:09, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on History of Manila. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Orphaned references in History of Manila[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of History of Manila's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Postma":

  • From Laguna Copperplate Inscription: Postma, Antoon (April–June 1992). "The Laguna Copper-Plate Inscription: Text and Commentary". Philippine Studies. 40 (2). Ateneo de Manila University: 182–203. JSTOR 42633308.
  • From Southeast Asia: Postma, Antoon (June 27, 2008). "The Laguna Copper-Plate Inscription: Text and Commentary". Philippine Studies. 40 (2). Ateneo de Manila University: 182–203.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 01:13, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
