Talk:History of Sydney

I think this article is very good. But some aspects are not so good, because they are unclear. Maybe I have misunderstood something, because I can´t English very good.
- Feel free to make suggestions about what you think is not very good. --Alexxx1 (talk/contribs) 01:00, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
I think more should be added to Sydney in the 20th century. I'm sure something's happened here since the opening of the Harbour Bridge. EG: attacks by the Japanese in world war II, construction of Sydney Opera House, the Olympics...
- Actually, I think this article is pretty bad. We jump from 1850 to 1832 and then from 1832 to 2000 with nothing in between - that's 150 years of history with one event listed! Is there a project Sydney that can help fix this up? Triki-wiki 02:39, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Triki-wiki
On that note, I've started improving the article a bit, beginning with the gold rush. I'll add more info over the weekend if I get a chance. Triki-wiki 07:10, 5 May 2006 (UTC)Triki-wiki Well guyz why dont u at least appreciate what is being written and not criticise.. I'm happy to add more on Aboriginal history of Sydney, so that its a bit more of a clear prelude. Ultimately there should be a separate page on the pre-European period, as the topic is mainly establishment of the town onwards.184.108.40.206 21:09, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
